Description

At some point all children come into a phase of testing out their limits. For some of them, this means developing a habit of wriggling themselves out of the harness of their child car seat, no matter how well the parent has tightened it.

Keeping escape artists within the belts

  • Keeps shoulder belts close together & removes child's space to wind out of the belts
  • Uses the harness tension to stay in position, essentially impossible for the child to push down

Designed for protection

  • Crash-tested according to UN R129
  • Fulfills the UN R129 requirements regarding size, functionality and ease of opening
  • Patented one-action opening mechanism, enabling getting the child out quickly in any situation

Easily attaches to the belts

  • Just open the clip, slide the belt in, and close it again
  • Can be moved up and down while the clip is open to find the right height for the child
  • Fits with belts of a standard width of 4 cm and medium or short shoulder pads

For BeSafe toddler seats, the Belt Guard should be used. BeSafe seats have longer shoulder pads, which would make the Belt Keeper sit too low for smaller children.

Frequently Asked Questions

ISOFIX or Seatbelt

ISOFIX and seat belts are two vital elements when it comes to children's car seats. Both keep the car seat secure.

In terms of safety during impact, there is no difference between ISOFIX and belt attachment, as long as they are both installed correctly - they are as safe as each other.

Weight limit or height limit first?

Car seats that have a weight limit and a height limit are outgrown as soon as your child meets one of those limits. e.g. an infant carrier might have a 13kg weight limit and an 86cm height limit, the seat would be outgrown as soon as the child was 86cm even if they were only 11kg.

What is the Swedish Plus Test?

The Swedish Plus Test is the toughest crash test in the world! The Plus Test is a voluntary additional crash test that car seat manufacturers can apply for. Plus tested car seats ensure that your child is not exposed to life-threatening neck forces during a collision. Find out more about the Swedish Plus Test here.

Can you help me install the car seat?

Every car seat purchase includes either installation at Fakenham or remote support to ensure a safe install.
