Choosing the right car seat
Keeping your child safe is our priority, which is why we offer a complimentary Car Seat Consultation service to help you find the right seat for your child and make sure you’re confident in fitting it correctly.
Legally every child under 135cm or 12 years old must use a car seat, (although we recommend using one up to 150cm) so from their first trip home as a newborn all the way through to the first school run and beyond, they’ll need a seat that’s right for them at every stage. We know that shopping for car seats can be confusing, but with our range of seats from only the safest brands and expert advice, we’ll make it easy.

Infant Carriers
From birth car seats are so important to get right. Some offer a terrible position for babies and can put them in a chin to chest position which is where a newborn can be at risk of positional asphyxiation.
Car Seats Plus offer a range of excellent newborn car seats with some that are suitable for premature babies. Plus you have the reassurance of aftercare where you can have unlimited fit checks to ensure the harness height and any inserts are correct for your baby.
Toddler Car Seats
Extended rear facing car seats are usually the next step for our customers, ensuring your child gets to a safe high back booster age (5 years old minimum).
At Car Seats Plus we will try your child in a range of car seats, along with trying the seats in your car and then helping you to decide on the best option for your family.
High Back Boosters
The final car seat in your child's car seat journey but not one that needs any less attention. High back boosters provide additional head and side protection, as well as ensuring the vehicle's seat belt is in the correct position.
Some high back boosters offer additional protection with a crotch guard or chin guard. At your appointment your child can try a range of highly rated high back boosters before deciding which one they are most comfortable in, and which fits in the car too.
